Kenny Thomas

Kenny Thomas, a former basketball player, had a successful college career at the University of New Mexico, achieving various records and accolades.

He played in the NBA for the Houston Rockets, Sacramento Kings, and Philadelphia 76ers before retiring in 2010. Afterward, he became a New Mexico Sports Hall of Fame inductee in 2012.

Kenny is actively involved in business, serving on the boards of several organizations, including the ALS Association and the African American Greater Albuquerque Chamber of Commerce. He is also a member of World Sports Alumni, engaging with athletes from various sports. Kenny remains connected to sports through commentating for NBC Sports California and mentoring young athletes in basketball, golf, and tennis.

Committed to education, he returned to complete his college studies in 2019, emphasizing the importance of pursuing dreams at any age. Currently residing in Sacramento, California, he continues to visit his hometown in New Mexico where his parents live.
